Arogyavaram Eye Hospital is the first eye hospital in north coastal Andhra. It is situated in Sompeta Mandal of Srikakulam District. A.P. India

The medical work at Sompeta was started in the year  1911 by Canadian Christian missionaries with the aim of providing health care to the people of this backward area.

The emphasis from 1939 onwards shifted to Eye Treatment and Preventive Blindness Relief Work.

In 1976 the hospital got registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It  is also registered under section 12A of Income Tax Act, 1961 as a Charitable Institution.

It is the first partner hospital of Operation Eyesight – Canada an International NGO.
